This society breeds, raises and trains fully-certified assistance dogs. Their service (mobility & PTSD) and hearing dogs provide life-changing independence to those with physical disabilities other than blindness, our accredited facility dogs work with community professionals, such as teachers, RCMP and psychologists to help support healthy communities.

Citadel is a nation-wide society, that has a sole mission to train dogs to help military veterans and first responders cope with the day to day rigors of living with PTSD.

PAWS Canada
PAWS was established in 1972 by a group of animal lovers who wanted to assist animals in need. We proudly enforce a strict no-kill policy, while providing a unique free-roam shelter where homeless, abandoned and abused animals are given safe haven - indefinitely. We offer exceptional care to the animals in our charge that is second to none.
